John Wick's Son Entered the Wrong Bar

CHAPTER 1 - The Boy With the Blood Token
The doors of the Iron Chapel slammed against the walls.
An eight-year-old boy stumbled inside, covered in dust and barely able to breathe.
"Please, sir..."
He ran toward Mason Crowe, the forty-five-year-old leader of the motorcycle club, and grabbed his leather vest.
"Help me. They're after me. My dad told me to come here."
Mason looked down at him.
"Who's your dad, kid?"
The boy swallowed.
"John Wick."
Laughter almost broke out, but the boy placed a bloodstained bronze token on the bar.
Mason's face changed.
Twenty years earlier, John had saved Mason and six other riders from an ambush. Before disappearing, he gave Mason one promise.
If someone arrived carrying that token, the Iron Chapel would protect them without asking for payment.
"That's impossible," Mason whispered. "John Wick is dead."
Three black-clad men appeared outside.
Mason closed his fist around the token.
"Lock the doors."
The bikers rose together. Tables were overturned, curtains drawn, and the boy was pulled behind the bar.
The killers demanded that Mason surrender him.
Mason refused.
The first attacker forced the door. A short, brutal struggle followed. The bikers drove the men outside, but one escaped into the desert.
Mason crouched beside the trembling child.
"What's your name?"
"Noah Hart."
"Where's your mother?"
"They took her. Dad told me to run while he stopped them."
Noah opened the token. Hidden inside was a small memory card.
Mason inserted it into an old laptop.
John's recorded voice filled the bar.
"Mason, if Noah has reached you, Elise has been taken. Protect my son. Trust no one wearing the black serpent mark."
Mason looked toward the unconscious attacker.
A black serpent was tattooed across his wrist.
Then the recording continued.
"And if I do not return before sunrise, assume someone inside the Iron Chapel betrayed us."
Every biker in the room slowly turned to look at the men standing beside him.
