John Wick's Son Entered the Wrong Bar
CHAPTER 3 - The Woman They Underestimated
Logan ordered everyone to step back.
He admitted that Voss had promised to erase his debts in exchange for the boy and the memory chip.
John moved between the pistol and Noah.
"You can take the evidence," he said. "The child stays."
Logan smiled.
"You still think this is about evidence?"
Voss wanted John to come to an abandoned railway depot before midnight. If he failed to appear, Elise would die.
Logan took the chip and fled through the rear exit.
Grace examined the jacket again.
Then she smiled.
"Elise expected someone to find the first pocket."
The chip Logan stole was marked with a tiny red dot. The real one remained hidden beneath the jacket's collar.
Elise had created a decoy.
John looked at Noah with quiet pride.
"Your mother planned this before she sent you away."
Noah wiped his tears.
"She said bad men always think frightened women make mistakes."
The real files revealed a tracking code connected to Elise's medical bracelet. Grace located its signal at Saint Agnes Depot.
Mason gathered his riders.
John refused.
"Voss expects an army. Too many people will put Elise at risk."
Grace volunteered to accompany him because Elise might need immediate medical care.
Mason objected, but Grace would not step back.
"She risked her life to protect her son. I won't wait here while another woman pays for men's violence."
John, Grace, and Mason entered the depot through an old maintenance tunnel. The remaining bikers protected Noah at the bar.
Inside, Elise sat tied to a chair. Her blond hair was disheveled, but her expression remained defiant.
Voss held a gun beside her.
"You should have stayed dead, John."
John stepped from the shadows.
"Let her go."
Voss demanded the real ledger.
Grace secretly moved closer to Elise while Mason disabled the lights.
In the darkness, Elise kicked the chair backward and struck Voss's arm.
John moved instantly.
The gun slid across the floor.
But before John could reach Elise, Logan appeared on the platform above them.
He was holding a detonator.
"Give me Noah," Logan shouted, "or nobody leaves this building alive."
